Family pricing will automatically be calculated at checkout when applicable.
Ticket only valid for date selected. Arrival within half-hour ticket window guarantees entry at that time. If you arrive earlier or later than your ticket time, you may be permitted immediate entry subject to availability.
You may enter the Museum any time within your arrival window. For example, purchasing a ticket for 10:30 allows you entry between 10:30 -10:59.

Individuals eligible for other discounts must purchase advance tickets online at full price. On the day you visit, you will need to present your pass/card and payment card at the entrance to receive the applicable refund.
Your tickets are emailed to you. Please print them at home or present them to staff on your electronic device.

Search for fossils, see real dinosaur remains still in the ground, and learn about the creatures and environment of ancient Alberta on this 90-minute journey through the badlands. (Hike information: 3 km return trip along uneven path; moderate trail with a few hills.)

Adult Supervision: Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a registered adult.
This program is recommended for ages 4+ due to the 3 km round-trip distance, the uneven terrain, and the potentially hot conditions in the badlands.
Participants must wear sturdy walking shoes with closed toes and closed heels (no sandals, flip-flops, or Crocs). Water bottles, hats, suncreen, insect repellant and clothing suitable for the weather are recommended. To secure your spot, advance registration is recommended.
This program is inaccessilble to wheelchairs and strollers due to uneven terrain.

Get ready to dig deep and have a blast with hands-on activities for budding palaeontologists! Activities will include fossil prospecting, experiments, crafts, gallery tours, and more.
Some of the activities will be outdoors (weather permitting), so children should come prepared with the appropriate clothing and footwear.
Snacks will not be provided, but there will be a party on the last session where food will be served. Please notify us if your child(ren) has any food allergies or dietary restrictions.
Parents will drop off and pick up their child(ren) for each session. The sessions are for the children only.
Two sessions: 10:15 to 11:45am (tailored for ages 3-4) or 1:30 to 3:00pm (tailored for ages 4-5)

Discover the world of dinosaurs and other prehistoric life through fun, hands-on activities for children ages 3 - 5.
During the six consecutive weekly sessions in January and February, children will participate in crafts, games, tours, and stories.
Please note: Siblings are not permitted to attend, with the exception of infants 6 months or younger.
Adult supervision: One parent/guardian per child or group of children is required to attend. (Free of charge)
There will be a pizza party on the final day of the Kidosaurus Club, however, snacks will not be provided weekly.

Make your own fossil replica, discover why casts are important to the Museum, and learn the differences between fossils and casts during this 45-minute indoor workshop.
Ages 4+: Adult: $10 (18 and over), Child $10 (4-17)
Adult Supervision: Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a registered adult. All people attending the program will pay the program fee. There will be no unpaid adults to assist their children, and all adults are permitted to make a cast.
Caution: Silicone moulds are used in the making of the casts.
This program is delivered in a lab setting using dental plaster which sometimes settles to the floor, so for health and safety reasons toddlers under the age of 4 are not allowed in the room. Program content is intended for ages 4+.
