Bring the rich and long history of the Métis to your classroom. This object kit provides samples of artwork, tools and activities to deepen student understanding of Métis relationship to the land. Created by Stephenie White, ISMI intern, this kit contains artifacts, tools, images and more! The goal is to introduce Métis culture, history and objects to foster discussions and reflections on Canadian history.

We have transformed our popular Sustainable Societies guided program into an Object Kit for teachers and students to use in the classroom!

Through a cooperative play board game, students will build communities using the resources available to them. Students will understand the positive or negative impacts resource-use can create and be challenged to find balance between community growth and environmental sustainability.
