Bring the rich and long history of the Métis to your classroom. This object kit provides samples of artwork, tools and activities such as books, a full glossary of items and 15 museum quality objects to deepen student understanding of Métis relationship to the land. This kit includes items such as; a bannock recipe, authentic beadwork and poetry that will allign well with elementary school curriculum.

Created in collaboration with the spectacular Stephenie White,our Indigenous Student Museum Intern, for 2023.

Each object kit is available to book for 1 full week including an allotment of a few days before to pick it up and after to drop it off (10 days total).

Please ensure you read your confirmation email in full, as well as the safe handling guide included. Pickup is on the East side of the building at our security desk.

And please be ready to sign your 'Object Kit Loan Agreement Form' at the time of pickup.
