'Sustainable Societies: A Resource Game' Facilitated School Program
Recommended for Grades 3-6
Social Studies comes to life as students answer the question: how has geography and natural resources shaped where and how people live?
Can your students balance community growth and sustainability? Through an interactive tour through the Human History Hall, students will understand the relationship between people and the land over time as they explore natural resource use from an Indigenous perspective, fur trade perspective and farming perspective. Using the historical understanding of these perspectives, students will work in teams to see how they can balance growth and sustainability in our Alberta themed simulation.
