'Changing Landscapes: Ice & Stone' Facilitated School Program
Recommended for Grades: 3-6
What physical changes can be identified by examining Earth's surfaces? How does Earth sustain life?
Alberta's ecosystems are heavily influenced by its landscapes. Features that seem ever-present such as mountains, rivers, and valleys were formed slowly over thousands of years and continue to change. In this program participants will explore the processes that dictate how these features form. Topics covered include mountain formation, glaciation, river formation, and erosion features.
