SPRING PACKAGE

Dig into gardening with this customized gift pack from the Provincial Archives of Alberta! It includes two types of heirloom seeds and a water bottle featuring artwork created by the Dominion Scientific Temperance Committee (PR1974.0001.0400a.0001).

The Bountiful bean has a Canadian heritage! In 1897, Abel Steele from Ferguson, Ontario won a prize for naming this newly-introduced variety. This bush is touted for its hardiness and each plant produces 6" to 7" long stringless pods.

The Italian heirloom zucchini is perfect in small gardens. It produces large numbers of beautiful fruits that are dark green with light green stripes and can be used for slicing, frying, and steaming. This is also a great variety for freezing and canning.

STABILO MARKING PENCIL - Black

The All-Stabilo pencil makes marks on virtually any surface. The water-soluble pencil features a soft, waxy lead that makes dense, legible marks on paper, glass, metal, photos and film. The pencil lead can be wiped off smooth surfaces with a damp cloth and is easily erased from paper.

The towel is machine washable and is sure to bring some humour to your kitchen! Each of these unique tea towels is made in Vancouver, British Columbia.

TEA TOWEL – MENTHOL BAG

This classic white cotton tea towel is adorned with an image of a common miracle cure featured in newspapers during the 1918 Spanish Flu. Menthol Bags promised to cure the flu by strapping the bag to your chest, where the fumes would rise to your face from the heat of your body and kill the germs!
