A reprinted publication from the Advisory Board on Objectionable Publications from the 1950s to 1970s. This board was part of the Alberta Government and was censoring comic books and magazines because they believed that children were being corrupted and turned towards crime.

Gin Pills promised to cure a large variety of ailments from the flu to backaches to kidney problems. This advertisement was taken from a February 1920 edition of the Edmonton Journal newspaper.
