A reprinted publication from the Advisory Board on Objectionable Publications from the 1950s to 1970s. This board was part of the Alberta Government and was censoring comic books and magazines because they believed that children were being corrupted and turned towards crime.

PUBLICATION REPRINT - WHAT'S WRONG WITH COMIC BOOKS?

This classic white cotton tea towel is adorned with an image of a common miracle cure featured in newspapers during the 1918 Spanish Flu. Gin Pills promised to cure a large variety of ailments from the flu to backaches to kidney problems. This advertisement was taken from a February 1920 edition of the Edmonton Journal newspaper. The towel is machine washable and is sure to bring some humour to your kitchen! Each of these unique tea towels is made in Vancouver, British Columbia.
