This Plan of Edmonton Settlement poster features an 1882 Edmonton river lot map from the PAA collection. Its features include the river valley and early structures, including the location of the Hudson's Bay Company.

This iconic advertisement was released in 1948 by the Alberta Department of Public Health, promoting Alberta being rat free.

POSTER - WHAT'S WRONG WITH COMIC BOOKS?

A reprinted publication from the Advisory Board on Objectionable Publications from the 1950s to 1970s. This board was part of the Alberta Government and was censoring comic books and magazines because they believed that children were being corrupted and turned towards crime.

TREE ORNAMENT

Presented in a handsome black velvet bag for easy storage, these flat round Christmas ornaments are made of high quality white ceramic and hang from a festive red ribbon. The front of the ornament features a black and white photograph of the Alberta Legislature (BL2698.1) from the Provincial Archives of Alberta photo collection, while the back includes all of the photograph's information. The ornament measures 2.75" in diameter.
