All individuals require a ticket, including children 6 and under.
Ticket only valid for date selected. Arrival within half-hour ticket window guarantees entry at that time. If you arrive earlier or later than your ticket time, you may be permitted immediate entry subject to availability.
You may enter the Museum any time within your arrival window. For example, purchasing a ticket for 10:30 allows you entry between 10:30 -10:59.
Tickets for Family Day will be available by walk-up admission on February 16, 2026. High attendance may result in line-ups requiring visitors to wait outdoors. Please come prepared for weather conditions. Thank you in advance for your patience.

Individuals eligible for other discounts must purchase advance tickets online at full price. On the day you visit, you will need to present your pass/card and payment card at the entrance to receive the applicable refund.
Your tickets are emailed to you. Please print them at home or present them to staff on your electronic device.
Cancellation policy - full refund on cancellations made 24 hours or more in advance of the admission time and no refunds on cancellations with less than 24 hours notice. To cancel, call (403) 820-6246.
Make your own fossil replica, discover why casts are important to the Museum, and learn the differences between fossils and casts during this 45-minute indoor workshop.
Ages 4+: Adult: $10 (18 and over), Child $10 (4-17)
Adult Supervision: Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a registered adult. All people attending the program will pay the program fee. There will be no unpaid adults to assist their children, and all adults are permitted to make a cast.
Caution: Silicone moulds are used in the making of the casts.
This program is delivered in a lab setting using dental plaster which sometimes settles to the floor, so for health and safety reasons toddlers under the age of 4 are not allowed in the room. Program content is intended for ages 4+.
To secure your spot, advance registration is recommended.
Programs begin promptly at start times. Latecomers will not be admitted.
Explore our world-famous Dinosaur Hall! This tour introduces young participants to the study of palaeontology, and the dinosaurs that lived in ancient Alberta. See real dinosaur fossils, explore what dinosaurs ate, and find out what living animal is most related to the dinosaurs. After the tour there will be lots of time for questions with our dinosaur experts.
From little feet to towering titans we'll explore the mysterious history of dinosaur eggs and babies. Learn about egg-citing discoveries, how different dinosaurs protected their babies, and what fossils can tell us about parental care in this 45-minute webcast.
