Conservation Services

Are you looking to restore some memories that need a bit of TLC? Professionally trained technicians can provide conservation treatment to textual items.This could include humidification, flattening, tear repair, tape removal, book repair etc. We would be happy to consult with you about your cracked and damaged marriage certificate, family photos, and much more. A Conservation Agreement is required for all materials being dropped off at the PAA.

CONSERVATION SERVICES – CONDITION REPORT

In order to start any Conservation Services, a Condition Report and Treatment Proposal must be completed prior to any conservation work.

A Conservation Agreement must be signed by the client and the Archives Retail Services Coordinator in order to leave any items at the PAA.

PHOTOGRAPHIC RESTORATION/COLOURIZATION - HOUR OF TECHNICIAN TIME

A professionally trained Digitization Technician will digitally alter the original item to client specifications.

The client must first speak with the Archives and Retail Services Coordinator to determine the approximate time for completion before the project commences.
