Homestead Searches

Homesteading refers to a specific means of acquiring land in Western Canada. Homestead application files are particularly useful in identifying how long a family has worked a certain quarter section of land. Do you need information and cannot do the research yourself? The Archives can provide homestead searches for a fee.
