HOMESTEAD SEARCH

Please supply the correct and complete legal land description (quarter, section, township, range and meridian) and the name of the homestead applicant. Fees range from $30.00 to $50.00; cost of service is dependent on the level of reseach required to complete the client request. The client will be refunded if additional research is not required. Searches can take up to 15 business days.

HOMESTEAD TOWNSHIP MAP, Per Map

The Provincial Archives has a series of township maps, which identify the original homesteaders on the township. You will need the Township, Range and Meridian (also known as the legal land description) to order these maps from the vaults. Please speak with our Reference Archivist about this process. Please contact the Provincial Archives (780) 427-1750 for further information about this service and to place an order.

HOW TO PEROGY: ILLUSTRATED GUIDE

This colourful illustrated guide created by Alberta artist Nancy Nickolson, will show you how! Its accordion-style design makes it spring-loaded, ready to burst open with an array of beautifully hand-painted artworks. It includes a full recipe and instructions to make a batch of 36 perogies.

It fits nicely into any standard recipe box and opens up to its full size to reveal a long table showing the steps to assembling these tasty potato pillows! The paper is also finished with a special matte laminate, so if you accidently get a bit of food on it, you can wipe it off!

Isn't it making you hungry just thinking about it?!
